Jeremy Thompson joins the Epresspack Board of Directors

Jeremy Thompson, former CEO of Gorkana in the UK and Cision EMEA, has joined the board of directors of Epressspack. Europe's leading provider of reputation management content platforms for major brands and businesses.

The board of directors of the start-up founded by Antoun Sfeir, welcomes a seasoned PR professional. Jeremy’s role will be to advise and support Epresspack in the UK, where they have had an office for four years and a portfolio of around 20 clients including the likes of Dove, INEOS, Dorchester collection, De beers, AstraZeneca & Aston Martin, among others. 

Jeremy's extensive experience in the PR sector will enable Epresspack, who also have offices in Paris, Madrid, and Milan, to accelerate its development in the UK and strengthen their reputation. At a time when companies are accelerating the digitalization of their communications.   


Jeremy's biography

Jeremy Thompson has 20 years’ experience in the public relations industry. A former Thomson Corporation graduate, he joined PR Newswire in 2000, which led him to work in media monitoring. With the support of Exponent Private Equity, he created the Gorkana Group through the acquisition and subsequent integration of Gorkana, Metrica and Durrants to create the UK's leading PR services platform. He was Managing Director and then CEO of Gorkana Group from 2007 to 2014, before selling the company to Cision, the world's largest PR services group. He subsequently became CEO of Cision EMEA and India until 2017. As Chairman of the International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC), he also drove the adoption of a range of innovative measurement tools, frameworks and principles between 2015 and 2017. Jeremy is now running a new company looking to disrupt the sponsorship market. He is also an investor and advisor to several start-ups including Trint and HeadBox. He has also been involved with Bowel Cancer UK for over 5 years. Jeremy currently lives in the UK with his wife and children and enjoys windsurfing and cycling.
